Lakeside Shopping Trip

Today I went shopping in Lakeside in Thurrock, it was THE most successful shop I’ve had in forever, sales are my best friend! But anyway, this blog is about my outfit I wore to Lakeside which I’ve also bought in the last week, oops!

So this coat I am in love with, properly husband and wife in love with! I got it in Oxfam for £10 but it’s originally from PLANET which is a great brand. The top I am also slightly in love with, it’s unbranded and I also got it in a charity shop for £1 but these style tops are really upcoming this summer, I’ve seen some of similar style in Topshop and River Island! My last charity shop find was my brown belt for £1.50 which I feel makes this outfit, I found one in New Look for £7 which is virtually identical!

Lastly I found this pleated skirt (which is denim on the back) in the Topshop sale for £7 down from £36, I was haps! This was only a couple of days ago so you can probably still pick it up in your local Topshop!

Outfit of the Week

Today I had a big BIG urge to go shopping so dragged the boyf along with me. I found this quirky shirt in Eltham Community Hospice charity shop for just £3.50! Eltham has 3 charity shops on the high street and I always come across a funky patterned shirt or trousers when I visit them. The leather trousers are originally from River Island which I found in Oxfam in Blackheath (lovely place by the way) for £7, I looked in River Island and they have some in the sale for £17, which I thought was very reasonable! Blackheath has two charity shops, the place is quite upmarket and I did notice a few labels flying about whilst in them, as well as lots of Zara clothing. I put this outfit with some sandal boots I got from Topshop £38.

Heart Charity Shops

SO, I'd been on the hunt for a summery floral shirt for ages and I finally found this over sized shirt in PARC Charity Shop in Braintree, Essex for...wait for it... TWO POUND! I then teamed it with a white playsuit from Missguided which was £19.99. One tip for charity shop shopping is to never be put off by the size of the clothes, you can work with any size, if a shirts too big you can wear it as a dress, tuck it in to a skirt, tie it up at the front etc. This shirt is a size 22 making it easy to wear in so many different styles!

Shoe Sale xoxo

New Look - £10

I love shoes but I don't like spending lots of money on them because I sometimes (frequently) have a few too many drinks and end up ruining them. However, my shoe collection had hit an all time low so I had no choice but to buy some new ones! I love these shoes because of the snake skin platform and chunky heel against the suede material and they are surprisingly comfy! They were the last pair on the shelf in New Look, Canterbury and happened to be my size... WIN, even better when they were in the sale for £10, i felt like a hero!

Me, Myself and I

Hello!

So, seeing as this is my first post I feel I need to introduce myself...I am 18 years old and a student studying Primary Education in Canterbury. Like most girls I have an unhealthy addiction to shopping, I've always liked a bargain and for the last few years I have been funding my addiction through, charity shops, sales, boot fairs, eBay and lucky one off finds!

I find it near impossible to walk past a charity shop and not enter! So I want to share some of the lovely things I have found and tell you exactly where is best to go and get yourselves some great bargains too!

xoxo
